Our Methodology

How we collect, verify and present Keno game data.

Data verification methodology

Data Collection

Keno Winning Numbers collects information exclusively from official and publicly available sources. Our primary sources are the official websites of national and state lottery operators. We do not use user-submitted data, scraping of third-party aggregators, or unverified secondary sources.

For each Keno game, we attempt to verify the following fields directly from the operator's official website: game name, operator, number pool size, numbers drawn per game, picks allowed, draw frequency, top prize (where officially published), and links to official results and rules pages.

Verification Status

Every record in our directory carries a verification status that reflects the completeness and reliability of the data we have collected.

Verified

All key fields have been confirmed directly from the operator's official website or official documentation. Source URLs are provided for each verified claim.

Partly Verified

Some fields have been confirmed from official sources, but others remain unverified or are based on secondary references. These records are published with appropriate "Unknown" markers for unconfirmed fields.

Unverified

The game's existence is known but key details have not been independently confirmed. These records are included for completeness but should be treated with caution.

Data Quality Scoring

Each record receives a data quality score (0–100) based on the number of verified fields, the recency of verification, and the reliability of sources. Records with scores below 40 may be excluded from the public directory until additional verification is completed.

What We Do Not Do

Keno Winning Numbers does not invent or fabricate data. If a field cannot be confirmed from an official source, it is marked as "Unknown." We do not provide gambling advice, game strategies, or predictions. We do not rank games by quality or recommend specific operators. We do not sell lottery tickets or facilitate any form of gambling.

Corrections and Updates

If you notice incorrect or outdated information in our directory, we welcome corrections. All correction requests should include a reference to an official source that supports the proposed change. We review and process corrections regularly to maintain the accuracy of our records.

Editorial Independence

Keno Winning Numbers maintains editorial independence. Our directory listings are not influenced by commercial relationships. The inclusion or exclusion of any game is based solely on data availability and verification standards, not on advertising or sponsorship arrangements.
